About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Client Onboarding Assistant to join a growing UK-based team on a fully remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from the very first interaction.
This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and passionate about delivering excellent client experiences. Full training will be provided, so no prior onboarding experience is required — just a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end client onboarding process, from initial welcome through to account activation
Send and track onboarding documentation, contracts, and welcome packs via email
Collect and verify client information, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date
Schedule and coordinate onboarding calls between clients and internal teams
Respond to client queries promptly and professionally during the onboarding phase
Update CRM systems and internal trackers with client progress and status
Flag and escalate any onboarding issues or delays to the relevant team members
Assist with process improvement initiatives to streamline the onboarding workflow
Requirements
Based in South Africa with a valid ID or passport
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, and CRM platforms
Reliable internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps)
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Professional and friendly communication style
Willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly
Previous experience in admin, customer service, or client-facing roles is advantageous but not essential
