About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-driven Procurement & Orders Assistant to support our UK-based clients with their purchasing and order management operations. In this fully remote role, you will coordinate purchase orders, liaise with suppliers, and ensure that goods and services are delivered on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities
Raise, process, and track purchase orders from initiation through to delivery confirmation
Liaise with suppliers and vendors to obtain quotes, confirm orders, and resolve delivery issues
Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier details, order history, and pricing
Monitor stock levels and flag low inventory or supply chain disruptions to management
Reconcile purchase orders against invoices and flag any discrepancies for finance teams
Support the procurement team with contract administration and supplier onboarding
Generate regular procurement reports including spend analysis and order status updates
Assist with ad-hoc purchasing tasks and administrative support as required
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support role
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or procurement software
Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — in English
Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously while meeting deadlines
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with good commercial awareness
Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is advantageous
Comfortable working independently in a remote, self-managed environment
Reliable internet connection and a dedicated, quiet home workspace
Equipment & Setup
A reliable laptop or desktop computer (Windows or Mac)
Stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 20 Mbps
Backup power solution (UPS or generator) for load shedding
A quiet, professional workspace suitable for remote work
