About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Marketing & Social Media Assistant to join our remote team. In this role, you will support the marketing efforts of UK-based clients by creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and helping drive brand awareness online. Key Responsibilities

• Create, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X (Twitter)

• Assist with the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns and strategies

• Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with the audience

• Track and report on social media performance metrics including reach, engagement, and follower growth

• Support the creation of email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and promotional materials

• Research industry trends, competitor activity, and content ideas to keep messaging fresh and relevant

• Assist with basic graphic design tasks using tools like Canva or Adobe Express

• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to align marketing activity with business goals

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a marketing, social media, or content creation role

• Strong written communication skills in English with a creative, engaging writing style

• Solid understanding of major social media platforms and current digital marketing trends

• Experience using scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Later

• Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and suggest improvements

• Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.) is an advantage

• Reliable internet connection and a dedicated home workspace

Equipment & Setup

• A reliable laptop or desktop computer (Windows or Mac)

• Stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 20 Mbps

• Backup power solution (UPS or generator) for load shedding

• A quiet, professional workspace suitable for remote work
