About the Role
Remote Recruitment is looking for a detail-oriented E-commerce Product Lister to join our growing remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and managing product listings across various e-commerce platforms, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compelling presentation to maximise visibility and sales.
Key Responsibilities
Create and upload product listings on platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, Takealot, and others
Write clear, accurate, and engaging product titles and descriptions optimised for search
Source and edit product images in line with platform guidelines
Ensure all product data including pricing, SKUs, and categories is accurate and up to date
Conduct competitor research to ensure listings are competitive and well-positioned
Monitor inventory levels and flag discrepancies to the relevant team
Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to obtain missing product information
Maintain organised records of all listings and updates in shared documentation
Requirements
Previous experience in e-commerce product listing or a similar data entry role
Familiarity with platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, or Amazon Seller Central
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with written content
Good written English with the ability to craft compelling product copy
Basic understanding of SEO principles as they apply to product listings
Comfortable working with spreadsheets and product databases
Ability to manage a high volume of tasks while maintaining quality
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment
Reliable internet connection and suitable home office setup
