We are looking for a Credit Control Assistant to support our finance team in South Africa. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of credit control or accounts receivable processes.

As a Credit Control Assistant, you will help manage customer accounts, track outstanding payments, and follow up on overdue invoices in a professional and timely manner. You will also assist with resolving billing and payment queries, updating account records, and supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day administrative tasks. The role requires someone who is organized, confident, and able to work accurately under pressure.

To be successful in this position, you should have prior experience in credit control, finance administration, or accounts receivable. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting systems are important, along with the ability to communicate clearly and maintain positive relationships with customers while ensuring payments are collected on time. Experience in a South African business environment is an advantage.
