Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced UX/UI Designer to support a UK-based employer in designing intuitive digital experiences for web and mobile platforms. This role is ideal for a South African professional who is organised, proactive, and confident working with UK teams remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the end-to-end design process from wireframing to final UI delivery
• Handle user research, usability testing, and design iteration based on feedback
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
• Maintain accurate records of design assets, component libraries, and version history
• Use relevant tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and prototyping platforms
• Support the wider team with design system maintenance, accessibility standards, and handoff to developers
• Identify opportunities to improve user journeys, visual consistency, and product usability

Qualifications and Experience

• 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Figma or similar design tools and familiar with design system principles
• Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience working with UK-based clients or employers is advantageous
• Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment

Salary: R38,000/month | 100% Remote
