Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Call Centre Agent to support a UK-based employer in delivering excellent customer service over the phone and via digital channels. This role is ideal for a South African professional who is organised, proactive, and confident working with UK teams remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support inbound and outbound customer calls in a professional and efficient manner
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and requests with empathy and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
- Maintain accurate records of call logs, customer interactions, and case resolutions
- Use relevant tools such as CRM platforms, call centre software, and ticketing systems
- Support the wider team with quality assurance, script adherence, and performance targets
- Identify opportunities to improve first-call resolution rates and customer satisfaction scores
Qualifications and Experience
- 1+ years of experience in a call centre, customer service, or a related role
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple calls and tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in CRM or call centre software platforms
- Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience working with UK-based clients or employers is advantageous
- Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, a headset, and a quiet working environment
Salary: R25,000/month | 100% Remote
