Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Office Manager to support a UK-based employer in keeping business operations running smoothly and efficiently. This role is ideal for a South African professional who is organised, proactive, and confident working with UK teams remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support day-to-day office operations including supplier coordination, facilities admin, and team logistics
- Handle scheduling, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, and internal communications
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
- Maintain accurate records of office budgets, vendor contracts, and operational documentation
- Use relevant tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management platforms
- Support the wider team with onboarding, HR admin, and general business support tasks
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce business overhead
Qualifications and Experience
- 2+ years of experience in office management, operations, or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and collaboration tools
- Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Experience working with UK-based clients or employers is advantageous
- Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment
Salary: R32,000/month | 100% Remote
