Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Compliance Officer to support a UK-based employer in ensuring regulatory compliance and managing risk across the business. This role is ideal for a South African professional who is organised, proactive, and confident working with UK teams remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support compliance monitoring, policy implementation, and regulatory reporting
• Handle risk assessments, internal audits, and compliance training coordination
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities, audit findings, and regulatory filings
• Use relevant tools such as compliance management software, GRC platforms, and Microsoft Office
• Support the wider team with data protection, AML, and FCA or relevant regulatory requirements
• Identify opportunities to strengthen the compliance framework and reduce regulatory risk

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple compliance tasks simultaneously
• Proficient in compliance management tools and familiar with UK regulatory frameworks
• Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
• High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience working with UK-based regulatory environments or employers is advantageous
• Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment

Salary: R38,000/month | 100% Remote
