Account Manager
Own and grow client relationships as a fully remote Account Manager for a fast-growing South African business.
Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of client accounts. You will be responsible for client retention, upselling opportunities, and ensuring an exceptional service experience throughout the client lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary relationship owner for an assigned portfolio of client accounts
- Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to assess client satisfaction and needs
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and work with the sales team to close them
- Resolve client issues promptly, coordinating with internal teams where required
- Prepare and present account performance reports and insights
- Manage contract renewals and negotiate terms to secure long-term relationships
- Maintain accurate account records in the CRM system
Qualifications and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in account management, client success, or B2B sales
- Proven track record of retaining and growing client accounts
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
- Strong analytical ability to interpret account data and identify trends
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a client-first mindset
- Comfortable managing multiple accounts simultaneously in a remote environment
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Salary: R32,000/month | 100% Remote
