Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow our social media presence across multiple platforms. This fully remote role is perfect for a creative, trend-savvy individual who understands how to build engaged communities online.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a monthly social media content calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok
- Create, write, and schedule engaging posts, stories, and short-form video content
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely manner
- Track and analyse performance metrics and provide monthly reporting
- Collaborate with design and content teams to produce high-quality visual assets
- Stay current with social media trends and platform algorithm changes
- Assist with influencer outreach and community partnership initiatives
Qualifications and Experience
- 2+ years of experience managing social media for a brand or agency
- Strong copywriting and content creation skills
- Experience with scheduling tools (Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, or similar)
- Proficiency in Canva or basic Adobe tools for creating visual content
- Understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking
- Creative thinker with a finger on the pulse of current digital trends
- Self-motivated and organised, able to manage content pipelines remotely
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or Media Studies preferred
Salary: R22,000/month | 100% Remote
