Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in accordance with UK accounting standards.

• Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and bank payments.

• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger balances.

• Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow summaries.

• Assist with payroll support and VAT submissions when required.

• Monitor company budgets and flag any inconsistencies or irregularities.

• Collaborate with accountants and external auditors to ensure accurate financial records.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' bookkeeping experience, preferably supporting UK or international clients.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage.

• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

• Good understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and reconciliations.

• Experience with VAT, payroll support, and financial reporting is advantageous.

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
