Job Title: Seasonal Proofreader

Job Overview:
Salary: R25,000 per month
We are looking for a detail-oriented Seasonal Proofreader to support our operations over a six-month period, from mid-April to October. This is a fully remote position, based in South Africa, working UK hours. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and refining property inventory reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency. The company specialises in producing detailed and comprehensive property reports, working with landlords, letting agents, and property managers across London to provide accurate documentation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable UK-based company during its peak season, with potential for a permanent role based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Review and proofread property inventory reports for grammar, spelling, and factual accuracy.
• Ensure consistency in formatting and language across reports.
• Work closely with the team to refine and enhance document quality.
• Maintain high levels of efficiency to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with other proofreaders to ensure seamless workflow coverage.
• Uphold the company’s commitment to producing high-quality, legally compliant inventory reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
• Prior proofreading or quality control experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other report-writing tools.
• Must have experience in roles requiring attention to detail (e.g., accountancy, chemistry, IT, proofreading).
• Familiarity with property-related terminology is an advantage.
