About the Role
This role is part of a recruitment company specialising in tech and AI companies. We are looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual who is hungry for growth, stays updated with industry trends, and is skilled in client engagement, particularly when dealing with C-level decision-makers. The team is younger, so we are seeking a mature Gen Z applicant who can bring fresh ideas while maintaining professionalism.

We are seeking a tech-savvy, strategic Marketing Executive to enhance digital presence, brand awareness, and lead generation. This person will create compelling content, optimise SEO, manage social channels, oversee podcast production, and drive engagement to support business growth.
Location & Working Hours
- Fully remote
- UK hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM
- South Africa based
- Salary: R28,000 per month
Core Responsibilities
- SEO & Digital Growth – Improve search rankings, manage website content, and oversee analytics to enhance visibility.
- Content & Branding – Write and manage LinkedIn posts, blogs, SEO-friendly website copy, white papers, and marketing materials.
- Social & Engagement – Manage and expand presence across LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Marketing Campaigns – Develop and execute targeted campaigns to attract and engage clients and candidates.
- Podcast & Thought Leadership – Research, contact guests, record, edit, and promote podcast episodes, integrating insights into marketing efforts.
- Case Studies & Testimonials – Collect, edit, and repurpose client and candidate testimonials into case studies and business development assets.
- Data & Performance Analysis – Track, analyse, and optimise marketing performance to improve ROI and lead generation.
Essential Skills
- Strong experience in one or more of LinkedIn content management, video/podcast editing for LinkedIn, and SEO/Google Search Console.
- Tech adaptability – Experience with multiple marketing tools and a proven ability to learn new platforms quickly.
- Design awareness – Strong eye for branding and layout.
- Strong communication skills – Comfortable reaching out to clients, candidates, and podcast guests.
- Data-driven mindset – Ability to assess marketing performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Strong research skills – Ability to find, analyse, and utilise market and industry insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Confident & Outgoing – Able to engage effectively with senior stakeholders over writing and video.
- Strong writing & proofreading skills – Able to craft and refine high-quality copy tailored to attract a C-suite audience.
Ideal Skills
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Previous experience in a marketing role within a recruitment agency.
Qualification
- Degree ideally in English, Marketing, or a related subject. Additional marketing, social media, or SEO qualifications are a bonus.
