Business Developer – Tech Recruitment Director
Working Hours: Fully remote, South Africa-based, aligned with UK hours (Monday to Friday, 8 am – 4 pm).
Salary: R55,000pm R60,000 per month (excluding commission).
Start Date: Within one month
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the company’s tech recruitment market share.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and trends in tech talent acquisition.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including C-suite executives and hiring managers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design bespoke recruitment solutions tailored to client needs.
Sales & Client Relationship Management:
- Manage end-to-end sales processes, from prospecting to closing contracts.
- Serve as the primary contact for high-value clients, ensuring outstanding service delivery.
- Create and deliver compelling proposals and pitches to potential clients.
- Negotiate and finalise service agreements, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Recruitment Strategy Leadership:
- Work with internal recruitment teams to align client requirements with recruitment strategies.
- Offer insights into hiring trends, salary benchmarks, and tech industry challenges.
- Design innovative sourcing and hiring strategies to secure top tech talent.
Market Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of tech industry trends and competitor activity.
- Analyse performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
- Provide regular progress reports and forecasts to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years in business development, sales, or recruitment within the tech sector.
- Must have prior experience working in an agency environment.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of recruitment dynamics within the tech industry.
- A robust network within the tech sector is an advantage.
