Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our fast-paced UK-based recruitment firm. This role is ideal for someone who is sales-driven, confident on the phone, and resilient enough to handle the challenges of outbound calling. You will play a pivotal role in generating new business, uncovering leads, and booking meetings for our delivery team.
We need someone with a dogged determination to succeed, who is relentless in pursuing opportunities and thrives on exceeding targets. This role does not suit an account manager who focuses solely on client servicing; instead, we are seeking hungry, resilient, and well-organised individuals who can stick to a structured plan and make the most of their time.
Responsibilities
Proactively make high-volume outbound calls to potential clients using targeted data lists.
Confidently introduce the business, establish relationships, and uncover new recruitment opportunities.
Book meetings for the delivery team with qualified leads and hand over detailed client information.
Maintain accurate and organised records of client interactions and progress using Loxo CRM.
Meet daily and monthly targets, including 30 outbound calls per day (15 in the morning and 15 in the afternoon).
Stay persistent and motivated despite frequent rejections, continuously pushing for results.
Work collaboratively with the delivery team to maximise lead conversion.
Uphold a positive, driven attitude and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within the recruitment sector.
Exceptional phone skills and the ability to handle objections confidently.
A resilient and persistent mindset, thriving under pressure and determined to meet targets.
Strong organisational abilities, with a structured and methodical approach to daily planning.
Self-motivated and commission-driven, with a passion for exceeding expectations.
Experience using CRM systems like Loxo is an advantage.
Reliable internet connection, laptop, and headset.
Home office setup that is conducive to professional calls and meetings.
Based in South Africa with a valid work permit.
